The Outcome
Through wargaming and simulations, the client matured their executive decision-making process for cybersecurity incidents and fortified their cyber incident response (IR) capability within manufacturing environments. They educated and integrated new employees who joined through an acquisition and built relationships across functional teams involved in cyber IR while refining response tactics for a significant cyber threat.
The Situation
A Fortune 500 multinational manufacturer needed to efficiently prepare for and simulate responses to cyber incidents within both IT and operational technology (OT) networks. The company turned to Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Allen to deliver a multitiered exercise strategy that tested its response to emerging real-world cyber threats.
The Approach
Our solution included an executive leadership tabletop that refined cyber crisis management, manufacturing site-focused exercises that trained non-traditional stakeholders, and small threat-specific events that refined tactical roles and actions. Our work—informed by real-world attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures and incident-response challenges—tested specific objectives and risk areas to improve cyber defense.
